As outlined in the "Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country for 2024," Turkmenistan is set to prioritize the dynamic growth of small and medium-sized enterprises, fostering a favorable business environment and enhancing public-private partnerships throughout 2024.

During a regular online government meeting on Friday, Hojamyrat Geldimyradov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan for Economic and Financial Matters, presented the activities planned for 2024 under the Program's draft to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as reported by official Turkmen media.

The document, aligned with the "Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country for 2022-2028" and the State Budget for 2024, outlines measures to ensure macroeconomic stability, bolster the country's economic prowess, attain sustainable GDP growth, and foster the development of industries and regions.

Additional efforts will be directed towards maximizing the production capacity of industrial enterprises and generating new employment opportunities in various regions.

In response to the report, the President of Turkmenistan instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to reanalyze the specified macroeconomic indicators for the current year, production plans for all sectors of the economy, and socioeconomic growth indicators for the provinces and cities outlined in the Program.
