Toyly Komekov, Turkmen Ambassador to the Italian Republic, President of RFI (Rete Ferroviaria Italiana) Dario Lo Bosco, General Director of RFI Gianpiero Strisuglio, and Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of the Italian Republic Eduardo Rixi convened to discuss the mutual exchange of expertise between Turkmen and Italian companies in the construction of high-speed railway lines.
As reported by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Italy, the meeting, held in Rome on Tuesday, also delved into the potential collaboration on high-speed trains and highway construction.
Ambassador Komekov underscored Turkmenistan's geo-economic advantage and emphasized the country's commitment to developing its transport infrastructure.
Deputy Minister Eduardo Rixi extended an invitation to representatives of Turkmenistan's state and private companies to engage in mutual learning and experience-sharing in the construction of high-speed railway lines, trains, and highways.
The meeting concluded with warm regards and best wishes exchanged among the participants.
