Berdymyrat Rejepov, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Kazakhstan, presented the debut book 'Youth - the Pillar of the Motherland' by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov during a lecture at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Nur-Sultan, as reported by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kazakhstan on Wednesday.
The event attracted students from Turkmenistan, the Russian Federation, Belgium, and the Kyrgyz Republic. The occasion, attended by faculty staff, diplomatic mission personnel and members of the Diplomatic Club of Astana, provided insights into Turkmenistan's programs and reforms for youth and national development.
The gathering provided an insightful overview of the extensive programs and socio-economic reforms undertaken, along with scientific, educational, and socio-political initiatives, all aimed at fostering the prosperity of Turkmen youth and the nation as a unified entity.
As part of the proceedings, Turkmen students in Nur-Sultan recited the poem 'Ocean of Wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy' by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, in both Turkmen and Russian languages.
The conclusion of the event witnessed the head of the Turkmen diplomatic mission expressing interest in the academic and athletic accomplishments of the students, while the students, in turn, seized the opportunity to pose questions on topics of personal relevance.
