Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov extended heartfelt congratulations to President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan on his resounding victory in the presidential elections, as reported by Turkmenistan's official media on Thursday.

In a congratulatory letter, President Berdimuhamedov remarked, "The voting results indicate a high level of trust and support from the people of Azerbaijan for the course you are pursuing, aimed at strengthening statehood and the socio-economic development of the country. I am confident that this important event will contribute to the further development of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the improvement of the well-being of its citizens."

The message also underscored the gratifying and effective nature of the fraternal relations between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan, expressing confidence in their continued development for the mutual benefit of both nations. President Berdimuhamedov conveyed gratitude for President Aliyev's personal attention and significant support in fostering good neighborly relations.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov extended sincere wishes to President Ilham Aliyev for good health, happiness, and success in his responsibilities as Head of State, while also wishing the people of Azerbaijan peace, prosperity, and well-being.

As per the official press service of the President of Azerbaijan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, extended sincere congratulations to President Ilham Aliyev on his resounding victory in Azerbaijan's presidential elections.

The State Information Service of Azerbaijan reported that President Ilham Aliyev secured a mandate, receiving 4,281,625 votes, equating to 92.05 percent in the presidential elections.
