The total volume of oil transit from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline in January-February amounted to 17.8 percent of the total pumping volume.

As reported by Interfax-Azerbaijan last Friday, citing the country's State Statistical Committee, the share of transit oil from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan amounted to 842.9 thousand tons.

During the reporting period, the volume of oil pumped through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline reached 4,725.1 thousand tons, which is 2.1 percent higher than the figure for the same period last year.

The total volume of Turkmen and Kazakh oil transit via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline in January of the current year accounted for 17.3 percent of the total pumping volume.
