Turkmenistan’s state concern Turkmennebit has signed a contract with Kazakhstan’s KSP Steel for the purchase of 11,000 tons of seamless casing pipes, the Kazakhstan Trade Policy Development Center (QazTrade) reported on its official website.
The agreement was signed on Oct. 22 in Ashgabat on the sidelines of the “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – OGT 2026” international conference. KSP Steel Commercial Director Bauyrzhan Kozhabekov signed the document.
According to the report, the pipes will be manufactured at the company’s facility in Pavlodar, Kazakhstan, and will be widely used in Turkmenistan’s oil and gas industry.
The contract, which provides for the export of Kazakhstan’s metallurgical products to Turkmenistan, is expected to contribute to the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries through industrial cooperation.
