Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, visited the country’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry to attend the Exhibition of Turkmenistan's Trade Complex on Wednesday.
According to Turkmenistan's official media, during his tour of the exhibition, the National Leader of the Turkmen People emphasized the importance of promoting domestically produced goods and instructed relevant leaders, who participated in the exhibition, to organize appropriate measures at a high level based on modern best practices.
The exhibition showcases various types of high-quality products and services. Over 210 enterprises and structures of the trade complex, as well as the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country, engaged in various sectors, are demonstrating their products and services.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov primarily inspected high-quality products from textile complexes, leather goods, various food products, drinking water, meat and dairy products, and also examined various types of fabrics.
Berdimuhamedov noted that improving the culture of trade and enhancing the level of services are among the important tasks of the modern era. He emphasized the need to approach the development of innovative methods and the expansion of product markets with great responsibility and comprehensively.
The Exhibition of Turkmenistan's Trade Complex opened on April 3 of the current year at the exhibition center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the country and will conclude on April 5.
