Lebap Livestock Breeders Welcome Nearly 74k Lamb Offspring

On the plains of Karakum and Gyzylgum, Lebap livestock breeders, from a total of 79,206 adult animals, have welcomed 73,912 lamb offspring, the Türkmen gündogary regional newspaper reported on Thursday.

According to shepherd Gadamjan Babayev, this year, Serdar livestock farm managed to produce 2,937 lambs from 3,111 adult animals, becoming the first in the region to fulfill their plan.

Tally Merjen in the Hojambaz district, Garagum in the Halach district, Jeýhun in the Sayat district, and Köýtendag in the Koýtendag district also achieved successful lamb offspring this year.

Additionally, this year in the Dashoguz region, in the Shabat district, livestock breeders from the Dowardarçylyk livestock farm of the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan obtained over 12,500 lambs from 16,000 adult animals.
