The forum in Paris aims to attract foreign investments in Turkmenistan's energy sector, including oil and gas exploration, transportation, processing, renewable energy sources, transportation, construction, and environmental aspects of hydrocarbon development.
Following Turkmenistan's National Development Program, significant projects are planned in the oil and gas sector, including the development of the Galkynysh field, participation in the development of the Caspian Sea, investment projects to increase oil recovery from productive formations, oil and gas chemistry, construction of underground gas storage facilities, and turnkey industrial projects.
The Turkmenistan Energy Investment Forum (TEIF 2024) commenced on Wednesday in the French capital, Paris. The Paris forum will also focus on further attracting investments in the development of Turkmenistan's offshore fields, with special attention to Blocks 16, 21, 23, and 24.
