On the occasion of Ashgabat City Day, 136 two-story residential houses in the Choganly residential complex will be ceremoniously opened, announced Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers for Construction and Industry of the country, Baymyrat Annamammedov, during a regular online meeting on Friday.
The Vice Premier also noted that a water treatment facility with a capacity of 150,000 cubic meters of drinking water per day will be opened in the Bagtyyarlyk district on the occasion of Ashgabat City Day, reports the official media of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, Baymyrat Annamammedov reported on preparations for the XXIII International Universal Exhibition "White City Ashgabat," dedicated to this significant day.
The purpose of the exhibition, held annually by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Ashgabat city administration, is to present the splendid image and unique beauty of the white-marble capital, the economic, cultural, scientific, and educational potential of the country's main city, as well as its vast opportunities and prospects.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of events in honor of the country's main city, including the upcoming XXIII International Universal Exhibition "White City Ashgabat" on May 24–25 this year. The head of state highlighted that all planned celebrations and opening ceremonies of new facilities should be conducted at a high organizational level and gave the Vice Premier appropriate instructions.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan considered a number of other important state issues and made corresponding decisions.
