National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, visited the Ruhabat Production Complex for bakery products of the State Association Türkmengallaönümleri on Monday, where he stated that Turkmen farmers have delivered over 1 million tons of grain to domestic granaries.
According to the official media of Turkmenistan, Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the Ruhabat Production Complex located in the suburbs of Ashgabat, where he inspected the operations of the grain processing enterprise.
Highlighting the ongoing wheat harvest season in the country, Berdimuhamedov emphasized the abundant grain crop this year and acknowledged the significant contributions of local scientists to achieving these results. He noted that President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has set ambitious goals for rural workers.
The National Leader underscored the need for continuous improvement in seed breeding, developing disease-resistant and high-yielding varieties of wheat and cotton suited to local climatic conditions, and enhancing the expertise and professionalism of scientists in the field.
Berdimuhamedov also emphasized the importance of holding an international scientific-practical conference with the participation of scientists and specialists working in the agricultural sector of the country.
During the visit, an exhibition of grain products was organized at the enterprise, featuring seed grain, flour from the current harvest, bread, and bakery products.
