Today, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers overseeing the agricultural sector reported to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the fulfillment of the country's contractual obligations for wheat harvest by farmers. A ceremonial event marking this occasion took place at the Presidential Palace complex Oguzhan. During the ceremony, young representatives from the provinces presented congratulations with wheat spikes in hand.
Young representatives from all provinces presented their gifts made from harvested wheat to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the official media of Turkmenistan reports.
Thanking the children for their congratulations, the Head of State took commemorative photos with them.
Expressing gratitude for the congratulations, the President of Turkmenistan noted that the master farmers, delivering over 1,400,000 tons of high-quality wheat to the homeland's granary, had honored their contractual obligations.
To mark this occasion, on behalf of all rural workers in the country, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was presented with a specially woven carpet.
