Starting in July 2024, Georgian Airways launched cargo flights on the route Tbilisi (Georgia) – Meilan (China) – Türkmenabat (Turkmenistan) – Tbilisi (Georgia), the press service of Türkmenabat International Airport reports.
This new international cargo route marks another significant step in strengthening trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Georgia.
It is worth noting that since October 2023, Georgian airline Geosky Georgian International Airlines has been operating regular cargo flights on the route Tbilisi (Georgia) – Zhengzhou (China) – Türkmenabat (Turkmenistan) – Zaragoza (Spain) – Tbilisi (Georgia).
