Turkmenistan, UK Review Bilateral Cooperation Priorities
Meeting of Turkmenistan's Deputy Foreign Minister Myahri Byashimova with the Director for Regional Development of the UK's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Sarah Cooper, September 9, 2024, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.

On 9 September 2024, a meeting was held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova and Sarah Cooper, Regional Development Director of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom, who arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the International Investment Forum “TIF-2024”.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the active dialogue between the two countries in political-diplomatic, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian fields. At the same time, special attention was paid to the prospects of bilateral cooperation in the field of climate change, green technologies, development of private entrepreneurship and English language teaching in Turkmenistan.
