Vladimir Putin Congratulates Serdar Berdimuhamedov on His Birthday

Today, a telephone conversation took place between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

The Russian leader warmly congratulated President Berdimuhamedov on his birthday, wishing him good health, well-being, and continued success in his important state activities. President Putin also highlighted the significant personal contribution of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, to strengthening fruitful bilateral cooperation. He asked that his warm regards and best wishes be conveyed to Hero-Arkadag.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed his gratitude to President Vladimir Putin for the heartfelt congratulations and kind wishes, as well as for his attention to the development of bilateral relations. He noted that Turkmenistan places great importance on strengthening ties with the Russian Federation in all areas.

It was emphasized that the consistent expansion of strategic partnership with Russia is a key priority in Turkmenistan’s foreign policy. The relations between the two countries are based on principles of friendship, trust, and mutual understanding, with significant achievements made over the years of cooperation.

In this context, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence in the further development and strengthening of Turkmen-Russian relations for the benefit of the peoples of both nations.

During the conversation, both heads of state reaffirmed their readiness for continued multifaceted cooperation between Turkmenistan and Russia.

At the conclusion of the conversation, Presidents Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Vladimir Putin wished each other good health, well-being, and success in their state duties, as well as prosperity for the friendly peoples of Turkmenistan and Russia.
