The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan has announced an auction for the sale of 41 state-owned properties.
The list of assets slated for privatization was published on Thursday in the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper. The auction is set to take place on October 24, 2024, via the digital platform for state property auctions and through its mobile application.
Some of the largest properties on offer include a brick production facility in the village of Hendekli, Berzen Gengeshlik, Danev District, Lebap povince, covering 3,967 square meters; the Döwrebap shopping and entertainment center (8,800 square meters); a two-story building in Lebap province; and a pipe factory in Dashoguz province (6,400 square meters).
Other items up for auction include service-related properties, such as shops, cafés, canteens, administrative buildings, and production facilities.
Eligible participants in the auction include citizens of Turkmenistan and foreign countries, as well as non-state legal entities from Turkmenistan and abroad, in accordance with the country's laws.
