Turkmenistan's Ministry of Industry Reports 1.427 Billion Manat in Production

The Ministry of Industry and Construction of Turkmenistan announced a total production and completed work valued at 1.427 billion manats, Deputy Prime Minister Baymurad Annamammedov said during a government online meeting on Friday.

Annammammedov reported that the ministry achieved 108.6 percent of its production and work completion plan for the period, according to official media.

The Ministry of Construction and Architecture exceeded its production targets at 106.5 percent, while the Ministry of Energy met 104.2 percent of its goals. The State Concern Türkmenhimiýa surpassed its plan with a performance of 120.3 percent.

The State Agency for the Management of Road Construction completed 113.4 percent of its plan, and the Ashgabat municipality achieved an impressive 141.8 percent for January to October of this year.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of increasing production volumes and improving work in the construction and industrial sectors, directing officials to implement additional measures to boost electricity production and export.

The head of state also noted that products from the State Concern Türkmenhimiýa must meet high-quality standards and tasked the State Agency for the Management of Road Construction with strengthening its material and technical base while modernizing operations to align with contemporary requirements.

The government meeting reviewed the results of activities conducted over the past ten months and discussed priority tasks for the country’s socio-economic development.
