Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova met Monday in Ashgabat with Beata Peks, the Ambassador of the European Union to Turkmenistan. The two sides discussed plans for joint events in 2025.
They also addressed current issues of bilateral cooperation, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Participants exchanged views on the development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the EU in political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian areas.
On March 18, 2024, Turkmenistan and the EU signed a protocol to the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement at the European Council.
