National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, met with Martin Bouygues, head of the French company Bouygues, during his visit to the Principality of Monaco. During the meeting, Martin Bouygues reaffirmed the company's interest in further strengthening its position in the Turkmen market, as reported by the official media Turkmenistan on Tuesday.

The businessman expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet and emphasized that collaborating with Turkmenistan and contributing to major projects, particularly transforming Ashgabat’s architectural landscape, is a great honor for his company. He also conveyed his best wishes to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and wished Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov a successful visit to Monaco.

In response, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov thanked Martin Bouygues for his kind words and conveyed greetings on behalf of President of Turkmenistan. He highlighted that expanding cooperation with major international companies remains a critical component of Turkmenistan's foreign economic strategy.

Martin Bouygues noted that Bouygues has always followed Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's advice when implementing global projects.

The Chairman of Halk Maslahaty stressed the importance of international initiatives, such as declaring 2025 the “International Year of Peace and Trust,” and underscored the significance of further collaboration in urban development and digital technologies.

At the end of the meeting, Martin Bouygues expressed sincere gratitude to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov for their trust in the company. He pledged that Bouygues would continue to fulfill its partnership commitments responsibly and spare no effort in successfully executing entrusted projects.
