Turkmenistan participates in the 3rd Caspian Economic Forum, held February 17-18, 2025, in Tehran, capital of Iran. Representatives from Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia, and Kazakhstan also attend the event, as reported by the official media of Turkmenistan.
The forum serves as a platform to discuss key aspects of cooperation among Caspian region countries in areas such as trade, economy, transport, energy, ecology, science, and technology.
The thematic sessions focus on strengthening interaction between the Caspian states. Participants expect to sign a final declaration that will formalize the agreements reached and promote the development of five-party partnerships.
The first Caspian Economic Forum took place on August 12, 2019, in the National Tourist Zone Avaza.
