A Spanish delegation comprising representatives from 18 leading companies, including Ibertest, Nobargi, Talgo, Sercobe, INDRA, AGRAGEX, and Teltronic, arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in working meetings with the leadership of nearly 10 ministries and agencies of the country.
This information became known during a meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister Akhmet Gurbannazarov and the new Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Spain to Turkmenistan, Ricardo Martínez Vázquez, as reported by the Turkmen Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, the Ambassador presented copies of his credentials and expressed his readiness to assist in the development of bilateral cooperation.
The parties discussed a wide range of topics, including agriculture and water management, transportation infrastructure, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation. They also addressed the development of educational programs and the study of the Spanish language.
Gurbanov emphasized the importance of strengthening the partnership and expressed Turkmenistan's readiness to support Spain in implementing diplomatic initiatives. In turn, Ricardo Martínez Vázquez assured that he would make every effort to strengthen relations between the two countries.
Earlier, representatives of 11 Spanish companies, including Ibertest, Nobargi, Typsa, Cesce, Tubacex, Almar Water, and Teltronic, visited Turkmenistan on a working trip.
