The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Armenia, Muhammetgeldi Ayazov, met on Friday in Yerevan with the Vice President of the Armenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Karen Ivanov. The diplomatic talks focused on the possibility of establishing a Trade House of Turkmenistan in Armenia.
The participants of the meeting discussed in detail ways to enhance the trade and economic potential of the two friendly countries and identified strategies to increase bilateral trade turnover, as reported by the Embassy of Turkmenistan.
The diplomats also addressed the development of transport and logistics infrastructure and the optimization of logistical communications between the countries, which is a key factor for successful economic cooperation in the region.
Turkmenistan will also host the 10th meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Armenian Commission on Economic Cooperation.
