Turkmenistan and Armenia reached an agreement on establishing the import and export of medicines and medical products produced in both countries, as reported by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Armenia.

The Secretary General of the Armenian Ministry of Health, Varduhi Grigoryan, met with representatives of Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Health and Medical Industry during the visit of the Armenian delegation to Turkmenistan, where they reached the agreement.

Grigoryan also attended the International Conference "Year of Peace and Trust: Developing International Activities for Children," which took place on March 29, 2025, in the city of Arkadag.

During the conference, she presented Armenia's latest state programs in maternal and child healthcare and emphasized the importance of ensuring access to medicines.
