President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Joel Bouzou, adviser to the Prince of Monaco and president of the international organization Peace and Sport, during a ceremony in Ashgabat celebrating the National Day of the Turkmen Horse, as reported by State news agency of Turkmenistan on Friday.
During the meeting, Bouzou expressed interest in expanding cooperation with Turkmenistan in the field of sports. The sides discussed the outcomes of a recent visit by a representative of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation to Monaco.
According to report, Bouzou noted it was an honor to work with Turkmenistan, calling the country a reliable and respected international partner.
At the end of meeting, Joel Bouzou thanked Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the warm welcome and said he would convey the Turkmen leader’s greetings and best wishes to Prince Albert II and Princess Stéphanie of Monaco.
