Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Takes Bicycle Ride Along Caspian Sea Coast

The National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, took a bicycle ride along the Caspian Sea coast as part of a working trip to Balkan Velayat of Turkmenistan, official Turkmen media reported on Sunday.

Before the ride, he visited a multifunctional sports complex in one of the scenic areas of the National Tourist Zone Awaza, where he completed a set of morning physical exercises.

The official presentation ceremony of the National Tourist Zone Awaza was held in June 2007. Since then, Awaza has become a venue for international business forums, conferences, festivals, competitions, concerts, and sporting events.

The tourist zone stands out for its advanced architectural and engineering solutions, and its infrastructure is constantly being modernized. The measures to develop Awaza contribute to increasing tourist flows and enhancing its international appeal.
