The Seydi Oil Refinery processed 269,400 tons of crude oil in the first half of 2025, marking a 21.7% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper on Wednesday.

From the processed raw materials, 127,400 tons of gasoline, 62,700 tons of diesel fuel, and 12,400 tons of bitumen were produced. The growth in fuel and construction materials production supports the stable supply of the domestic market and expands the region’s industrial capacity.

The increase in crude oil processing at the Seydi Refinery is complemented by positive results in other sectors. In the same period, the region produced 12,000 tons of liquefied gas — 600 tons more than during the first half of the previous year.

The Seydi Refinery is part of the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR), which accounts for over a quarter of all products derived from oil and gas processing in Turkmenistan.
