Russia Increases Agricultural Exports to Turkmenistan by 16%

Russia exported more than $110 million worth of agricultural products to Turkmenistan in the first seven months of 2025, marking a 16% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the federal “Agroexport” Center.

In physical terms, exports exceeded 125,000 metric tons. Key categories included fats and oils, meat and dairy products, fish, beverages, confectionery, and other goods.

Top export items were sunflower oil, wheat or rye-wheat flour, sugar, margarine, and baby food.

In 2024, trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Russia surpassed $1.6 billion.
