Gök Saraý, a company based in Anau, Ak Bugday district of Ahal province, has launched the production of triple-twisted cotton yarn. A company representative shared the news with Business Turkmenistan during the Exhibition of Economic Achievements of Turkmenistan, held Thursday in Ashgabat as part of celebrations marking the 34th anniversary of the country’s Independence.

The yarn is produced through a multi-stage process. The cotton is first cleaned, sorted, and blended. The fibers are then aligned, drawn out and spun into fine threads. Three single yarns are twisted together in the opposite direction—a technique that enhances the strength and durability of the final product.

Gök Saraý also fulfills custom yarn orders and specializes in two main products: ring-spun yarn and twisted yarn. To ensure high quality, the company cultivates its own cotton, which is then used in production.

The plant has a production capacity of up to 5,000 tons of raw materials per year. Finished products are exported to Turkey, Russia, European countries and Uzbekistan.
