The 30th Anniversary “Oil & Gas of Turkmenistan – OGT 2025” Conference & Expo concluded in Ashgabat with record attendance of over 1,400 delegates from 70 countries. The event reinforced Turkmenistan’s reputation as a reliable investment destination in the regional energy sector.
Organized by the State Concern “Turkmennebit”, the State Concern “Turkmengaz”, and the State Corporation “Turkmengeology” in collaboration with Energy Forum, the three-day event hosted more than 100 exhibiting companies – a 45 % increase compared to 2024 – showcasing exploration, gas-processing, and clean-energy technologies.
The Opening Plenary featured key figures including H.E. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer (DEWA / ENOC), Dr. Daniel Yergin (S&P Global), Andrea Stegher (IGU President), Abdulvahit Fidan (Chairman & CEO, BOTAŞ, Türkiye), and Rovshan Najaf (President, SOCAR).
The BusinessConnect AI platform generated more than 300 B2B meetings between project owners and investors, helping to form new commercial alliances.
Key sessions addressed the TAPI pipeline project, Development of offshore blocks in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, Galkynysh expansion, hydrogen, and methane-reduction.
Media partners including Euronews, bne IntelliNews, and NewsBase gave the event wide coverage, strengthening the country’s global outreach.
The Organising Committee confirmed preparations for OGT 2026, which will focus on AI, hydrogen, and renewables.
