Turkmenistan has invited Germany to collaborate on promoting environmentally friendly textile products in the European market, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyyev said during the Turkmenistan Economic Days in Germany, held Oct. 30–31 in Frankfurt am Main.
According to the Deputy Chairman, the country’s textile sector currently operates about 60 modern enterprises equipped with advanced machinery, with up to 70% of production exported abroad.
Atagulyyev emphasized that Turkmenistan aims to expand the sector’s export potential and is interested in direct cooperation with German engineering companies to implement new technologies and install high-tech equipment at newly established facilities.
