Turkmenistan Marks 30th Anniversary of Permanent Neutrality in Kabul

On 22 November 2025, a solemn reception dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality, the International Day of Neutrality, and the International Year of Peace and Trust was held by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Afghanistan.

The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, the heads of the diplomatic missions, international organizations accredited in Kabul.

In the solemn reception, participants were informed about the activities dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality, the International Day of Neutrality, and the International Year of Peace and Trust, including preparations for the upcoming International Forum on Peace and Trust, which will take place in December this year in Ashgabat.

During the event, special attention was also paid to Turkmenistan's major economic projects in Afghanistan, such as the TAPI gas pipeline, the TAP power transmission line, the railway and the fiber-optic communication system, as well as the humanitarian aid provided to the Afghan people.

As part of the event, video presentations showcasing Turkmenistan’s major achievements on the international stage were demonstrated.
