President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov, chaired a regular meeting of the State Security Council on Wednesday, where he signed a resolution approving new personnel appointments in the country’s prosecution system, according to state media.
Junior Justice Adviser Didar Suhanberdiyevich Orazov was appointed prosecutor of Balkan Province after being relieved of his post as prosecutor of Dashoguz Province. Junior Justice Adviser Shukur Bayramdurdyyevich Annaliyev, who previously headed the Mary district prosecutor’s office, was named prosecutor of Dashoguz Province. Second-class lawyer Begnazar Nazarovich Kajarov was appointed Mary prosecutor for oversight of lawfulness in correctional facilities. Junior Justice Adviser Kakajan Kanalovich Amanmyradov was dismissed as prosecutor of Balkan Province, and Junior Justice Adviser Hangeldi Amangeldiyevich Annabayev was dismissed as Mary prosecutor for oversight of lawfulness in correctional facilities, both upon completion of their terms.
In a separate decree, several new district prosecutors were confirmed. Second-class lawyer Maksat Amannazarovich Kurbannazarov was appointed prosecutor of the Altyn Asyr district in Ahal Province; second-class lawyer Shohrat Annabayevich Tuvakov became prosecutor of the Garashsyzlyk district in Dashoguz Province; second-class lawyer Yusupmyrat Ashyrmyradovich Berdimyradov was named prosecutor of the Gubadag district in Dashoguz Province; and second-class lawyer Shirguly Byashimkuliyevich Shirgulyyev became prosecutor of the Dowletli district in Lebap Province.
Second-class lawyer Arslan Torayevich Ananov was appointed prosecutor of the Farap district in Lebap Province; second-class lawyer Merdan Shohradovich Nazarov became prosecutor of the Garabekewul district in Lebap Province; second-class lawyer Batyr Seyitgulyyevich Hydyrov was named prosecutor of the Mary district in Mary Province; and first-class lawyer Myratgeldi Kakageldiyevich Charyberdiyev became prosecutor of the Oguzhan district in Mary Province. Junior Justice Adviser Myratasyl Myratgeldiyevich Myratgeldiyev was dismissed as deputy prosecutor of Lebap Province upon completion of his term.
The meeting also reviewed the performance of the country’s military and law enforcement agencies over the past 11 months.
