The National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on the occasion of his birthday, the Azerbaijani president’s press service reported Sunday.
Berdimuhamedov noted that under Aliyev’s leadership, Azerbaijan has made significant progress in socio-economic development, strengthening statehood, and consistently improving the living standards of its population.
Berdimuhamedov recalled with warmth their meeting in Gabala during the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, held as part of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s official visit to Azerbaijan, and expressed confidence that Turkmen-Azerbaijani cooperation will continue to develop for the benefit of both fraternal peoples through joint efforts.
The National Leader of the Turkmen People highly appreciated Aliyev’s contribution to strengthening and developing Turkmen-Azerbaijani bilateral relations, as well as his special attention to this area.
Berdimuhamedov wished Aliyev good health, happiness, and success in his responsible state activities, and the fraternal people of Azerbaijan — peace, development, and prosperity.
