The total volume of cashless transactions using bank cards in Turkmenistan from January to October 2025 exceeded 17.6 billion manats, according to the electronic journal Bank Habarlary, published by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.
Payments made through terminals during the same period amounted to 14 billion 611 million 839 thousand 763 manats.
According to the Central Bank, transactions conducted in 2025 through the “Electronic Commerce” system totaled more than 2 billion 331 million 171 thousand manats, while payments via the “Mobile Bank” system exceeded 37 million 326.5 thousand manats.
The total amount of cashless payments through ATMs exceeded 453 million 925.9 thousand manats, and transactions via the “Internet Bank” system surpassed 5 million 987.4 thousand manats.
The report noted that the Halkbank terminal system processed more than 190 million 26.7 thousand manats in cashless payments.
