Representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan took part in the third session of the General Assembly of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkic-Speaking Countries, held in Astana, Kazakhstan, where they presented the country’s economic opportunities, export potential and open approach to international cooperation.
The meeting focused on strengthening economic cooperation, developing trade ties and expanding joint projects among Turkic-speaking countries, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan said Thursday.
Participants also exchanged experience and discussed measures to intensify business contacts among the chambers of commerce and industry.
The Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkic-Speaking Countries was established in 2019 and serves as a platform for advancing trade and economic cooperation among Turkic-speaking states. Its members include Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan. Hungary and Northern Cyprus have observer status.
