Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and China totaled $10.46 billion from January through December 2025, according to China’s General Administration of Customs.
Bilateral trade in December alone amounted to $879.9 million.
Turkmen exports accounted for the bulk of the trade volume. From January through December, Turkmenistan exported goods worth $8.45 billion to China. During the same period, Turkmenistan imported Chinese goods valued at about $1.6 billion.
China imported natural gas from Turkmenistan worth $8.41 billion in 2025.
