A poultry complex owned by Turkmen entrepreneur Hojamyrat Hojanyazov, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, exports between 10 million and 15 million chicken eggs a month, the Rysgal newspaper reported Monday.

The enterprise is located in Turkmenistan’s Ahal province. In the Kaka district, the entrepreneur uses about 500 hectares of land allocated by the state on a long-term basis. Each year, about 230 hectares are planted with canola, with a similar area devoted to feed crops, including triticale.

The poultry complex in the Ak Bugday district houses about 140,000 laying hens. Daily output exceeds 120,000 eggs, which are supplied fresh to the domestic market.

Stable domestic production helps reduce food imports, improve the competitiveness of local products and expand exports.

The entrepreneur plans to modernize production technologies and improve operational processes in the near term.
