Turkmenistan’s Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met Tuesday in Dubai with Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates, Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber to review the implementation of ongoing projects and identify potential areas for expanding cooperation.
The sides noted the constructive nature of Turkmenistan-UAE cooperation in the gas sector and confirmed interest in deepening engagement in priority areas, according to the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
The meeting resulted in an agreement to strengthen cooperation through regular meetings and consultations between relevant agencies and companies of the two countries to ensure consistent, practical engagement.
Later the same day, Meredov also met with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The talks covered a broad range of issues related to further development of Turkmen-UAE ties in the political, diplomatic, trade and economic spheres.
