State Customs Service of Turkmenistan Launches Online Q&A Service
A moment from the work being carried out at the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan.

The State Customs Service of Turkmenistan has launched an online question-and-answer service, also accessible by phone. The initiative is part of efforts to modernize the country’s customs sector in line with contemporary requirements and to create favorable conditions for the development of foreign economic activity, the service said Thursday.

The service allows participants in foreign economic activities, including foreign trade, as well as citizens crossing or planning to cross the customs border, to receive real-time answers to questions related to customs matters.

The online platform also provides guidance on issues arising during the passage of goods through the customs border, including customs clearance, payment of customs duties, and restrictions and prohibitions established by Turkmenistan’s legislation.

Through the Q&A service, users can learn about regulations for vehicles imported into Turkmenistan, the documents required for customs control and clearance, and the types and amounts of customs payments. The service is free of charge.

For inquiries by phone, contact: 39-41-39.
