President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent congratulations and best wishes to Iranian President Masud Pezeshkian and the people of Iran on the occasion of Revolution Day, the Turkmen state media reported Wednesday.
Berdimuhamedow noted centuries-old ties between Turkmenistan and Iran and expressed confidence that relations based on good-neighborliness, friendship, and mutual respect would continue to develop in the interests of both peoples.
He wished Pezeshkian good health, happiness, and well-being, and the Iranian people progress and prosperity.
Revolution Day in Iran is celebrated annually on Feb. 11.
