Turkmenistan’s tomato exports to Kyrgyzstan grew 9% in 2025, the Kyrgyzstan’s National Statistics Committee reported, according to Tazabek on Friday.
Data from the committee show that Kyrgyzstan imported about 19,000 tons of tomatoes from Turkmenistan in January–December 2025, valued at $13.9 million. By comparison, shipments in 2024 totaled 17,400 tons, worth $9.8 million.
Earlier, the National Statistics Committee reported that from January to October 2024, Turkmenistan exported more than 15,200 tons of tomatoes to Kyrgyzstan, valued at around $8.9 million. That figure was 23% higher than the same period in 2023.
Turkmenistan remains the largest supplier of tomatoes to the Kyrgyz market.
