Turkmen entrepreneurs concluded trades totaling 253.66 million manats on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) last week, the exchange reported Monday.
Local buyers purchased petroleum products, wheat flour, polypropylene and various textiles for the domestic market.
Foreign entrepreneurs from Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates, India, Serbia and Türkiye purchased liquefied gas from state concern Turkmenhimiya, petroleum products and polypropylene produced by Turkmennebit.
In addition, grade “B” urea from Turkmenhimiya, Portland cement from Ministry of Industry and Construction enterprises, and textile products from Turkmen companies were sold. Condensed licorice root extract and wheat were also traded. The total value of these deals reached $14.61 million.
A total of 24 trades were registered on the exchange last week.
