The total volume of oil transit from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline reached 686,400 tons in January and February 2026.
According to Report.az, citing Azerbaijan’s State Statistics Committee, this accounted for 16.9% of the pipeline’s total throughput.
Overall, 4.0551 million tons of oil were transported through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline during the period.
The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline stretches 1,768 kilometers and carries crude oil from the Caspian Sea to the Mediterranean Sea. It begins in Baku, Azerbaijan, passes through Georgia, and terminates at the Turkish port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean coast.
