Turkmen athletes have been invited to take part in the VI World Nomad Games, which will be held in Kyrgyzstan later this year, Kyrgyz Ambassador to Turkmenistan Azizbek Madmarov said in an interview with the Turkmenistan newspaper during Novruz celebrations.
The VI World Nomad Games are scheduled to take place from Aug. 31 to Sept. 6 in Kyrgyzstan.
Madmarov, on behalf of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Ashgabat and personally, extended congratulations to Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as to National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the Turkmen people on the occasion of Novruz.
The Kyrgyz side welcomes Turkmenistan’s progress in strengthening its independence and its steady path toward political stability and socioeconomic development, the diplomat said, expressing wishes for continued dynamic growth and the achievement of high goals this year.
The V World Nomad Games were held on Sept. 8, 2024, in Astana, Kazakhstan. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov attended the opening ceremony.
