Export transactions at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) totaled more than $350.7 million during the last week of March, Turkmenistan’s official media reported Monday.
Business representatives from Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Singapore and Azerbaijan purchased petroleum products, polypropylene and motor gasoline produced by Turkmennebit, as well as urea grade “B” produced by Turkmenhimiya.
Various types of textile products, medical supplies and high-grade wheat flour produced by Turkmen private enterprises were also sold during trading sessions.
Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased petroleum products, polypropylene and high-quality wheat flour worth a total of 269.03 million manats.
A total of 53 transactions were registered at the exchange during the reporting period.
