Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Guvanch Agajanov held talks with Uzbekistan Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ravshanbek Alimov, focusing on the development of bilateral cooperation in the fuel and energy sector and the implementation of joint projects.
According to Uzbekistan’s Dunyo news agency, which reported the meeting Friday, the sides said energy cooperation is strengthening and yielding concrete initiatives and practical results.
They also said Uzbek-Turkmen relations have reached a new level in recent years, driven by the consistent policies of the two countries’ leadership.
The participants exchanged views on expanding cooperation in the oil and gas sector, including prospects for deepening partnership and intensifying joint activities.
