Turkmenistan took part in the Offshore Technology Conference Asia 2026 (OTC Asia), held in Kuala Lumpur from March 31 to April 2, according to Turkmen Energy Forum.
On the sidelines of the conference, Turkmen representatives held talks with industry organizations, educational institutions, and training centers. Special attention was given to strengthening cooperation with Malaysian partners, including PETRONAS, one of the leading international investors in Turkmenistan’s energy sector.
The Turkmen delegation also met with representatives of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), the Society of Petroleum Engineers Malaysia, and the Oil and Gas Services Council to discuss workforce development, skills enhancement, and international collaboration.
Following the meetings, international partners received invitations to participate in key energy events in Turkmenistan, including the TESC 2026 International Scientific and Practical Conference and the 31st International Conference and Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – OGT 2026.”
According to the report, Turkmenistan’s participation, supported by Turkmen Energy Forum, reaffirmed the country’s commitment to expanding international cooperation.
