National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, during a working visit to the city of Arkadag, pointed to a slowdown in construction work and its failure to meet established quality standards. He stressed the need for the immediate elimination of identified shortcomings, state media reported Tuesday.
Berdimuhamedov said it was particularly necessary to accelerate construction of Ahalteke Atlary Avenue and ensure its commissioning in the near future, while instructing that constant oversight be maintained over the pace and quality of all planned work.
The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty emphasized that maintaining high construction quality and ensuring the timely commissioning of facilities are key priorities at the current stage. He also highlighted the importance of improving adjacent territories and maintaining proper environmental conditions in the city.
Berdimuhamedov underscored the need to mobilize all efforts for the successful implementation of tasks outlined in the program “Revival of new epoch of the powerful state: National Program of Turkmenistan's socioeconomic development in the period 2022-2052.”
In addition, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty reviewed progress under the second phase of Arkadag’s construction, as well as projects for facilities under construction and modernization.
