President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Friday instructed Vice Premier Nokerguly Atagulyyev to carry out the necessary work to launch production of high-quality wool yarn at a textile complex in the city of Bayramaly, Mary province, during a regular Cabinet of Ministers meeting.
According to official Turkmen media, the deputy prime minister noted that within the textile sector, measures are currently being taken to produce various types of high-quality wool yarn in demand on foreign markets, using local raw materials.
The Vice Premier stressed that this would not only meet domestic market needs but also contribute to expanding the country’s export potential.
The head of state noted that effective work is underway in Turkmenistan to develop the textile industry, with high-quality products being manufactured at modern enterprises in the sector.
The meeting also reviewed and adopted decisions on a number of other important state matters.
