Turkmenistan and Moldova Consider Organizing Business Missions

Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Ukraine, accredited concurrently to the Republic of Moldova, Toyly Atayev, held a meeting with the leadership of the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, including President Sergiu Harea and Vice President Mihail Bîlba. The parties discussed the potential organization of business missions.

The sides also reviewed possible mechanisms to support small and medium-sized enterprises, including the exchange of business information and participation in trade fairs and exhibitions, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine reported on Wednesday.

The Turkmen side invited Moldovan partners to actively participate in exhibitions and trade events held in Turkmenistan.

The Moldovan side expressed strong interest in developing cooperation in the energy, chemical industry and other priority sectors, as well as in participating in business-related events.

On April 28, 2026, in Moldova, Toyly Atayev also held separate meetings with Petru Burduja, member of the Moldovan Parliament and head of the parliamentary friendship group with Turkmenistan, as well as State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova Sergiu Mihov and representatives of the foreign ministry.
